·         Games will begin the weekend of September 11, 2010, and continue through the end of October. In house teams will play games on Saturdays, and Travel teams will play on Sundays.

·         Practices will begin approximately one week after the Lawrence County Fair ends at the end of August.

·         Game rules can be found on the Laurel Soccer Club Website Referees Page.

·         Field locations, including home and away, can be found on the Laurel Soccer Club website Downloads & Links Page.

·         Once the schedules are made, you can find them on the Schedules Page.

·         Your coach will be contacting you by the end of August with more information.  In the interim, should you have any questions, feel free to contact us at  President@LaurelSoccerClub.com.

The Final Step:  Other Things You Might Need to Turn in:

·         NEW RULES -- BIRTH CERTIFICATES for ALL PLAYERS:  US Soccer is now requiring all clubs to collect birth certificates for ALL players, not just travel players like before.  If you are a travel player, who has played with Laurel Soccer Club before as a travel player, we already have your birth certificate on file.  ALL OTHER PLAYERS MUST SEND COPIES OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATES to the soccer club as indicated below.

·         ID PICTURES for TRAVEL PLAYERS:   All travel players must have a player's pass, which includes a photo.  If you are playing U12 for the first time, or if you are a travel player playing for Laurel Soccer Club for the first time, please submit a 1” x 1” picture to the club as indicated below.

·         If you are going to help with the team at all, you must have your CLEARANCES.  No one is permitted to run a practice or help the coach during the game unless your Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances are on file with the soccer club.  You cannot stand on the players' side of the field, or act as a substitute or assistant coach, unless we have your clearances.  Obtaining your clearances is very easy.  Go to http://www.pawest-soccer.org/youth_div/riskmanagement.htm, take 5 minutes to fill out the form, and pay $10.35.  Then submit your receipt and certificate to Laurel Soccer Club for a full reimbursement.

·         SUBMISSION Please have all documents turned in by August 1, 2010, so we have time to make the rosters and player passes. You may submit photocopies or electronic files (.jpg or .pdf) of birth certificates, pictures and clearances.
